Cons: A bit disappointed. I expected, at least, that the depth graph on-screen would change from inches (standard GTI 2500 mode)to feet in the depth multiplier mode. But the only thing you get with the Depth Multiplier is signal strength, period! With regular GTI 2500 mode, you get depth of the object, size, type of metal, etc. With the multiplier, this is all disabled, you don't know if you have to dig 2 feet or 20 feet, you don't know what type of metal, you don't know how big it is. You could be digging to China for all you know. The GTI 2500 manual and instruction video never mention anything about the Depth Multiplier. Does it work? Yes, but very limited feed back about the details of what you find. Minimum capability I would expect is at least depth of what you've found, especially since the depth multiplier is capable of going very deep. The GTI 2500 on the other hand is awesome and has every feature you would ever need, except submersing the entire thing under water
